Deep personal work is for those standing at the threshold of “Now What.” Often they have done years of therapy, or self-help work, and have arrived at a place where they know there is more but are not sure where to turn. Turning inward once again, yet cultivating an outward relationship to the Soul of the World, can be the next horizon for personal work and a purposeful way to explore soul. Curious, interested, questing individuals can often take this deep dive no matter where they are in life’s process. Soul Ways is also for therapists, counselors, and coaches who want to explore their own deeper innerculture to better serve their clients. Professionals and caregivers need support for their deepest work and a safe place to nurture an organic regenerative innerculture that thrives in the realm of Soul. Individuals may also come forward for support on a particular topic they wish to take a deep dive into. With topic in hand, custom and personal Soul Ways can be curated through a safe and natural collaborative process.
Personal Investment
Sessions
Whether personal or collective, Soul Work is slow and deep. This requires witnessing, interest, and collaboration. Therefore, sessions are longer by design to provide time to co-create practices and tools for a home practice that can be attended to, nourished, and added to for the long-term. Offerings include four hour half-day sessions, or one, two, or three day sessions. Sessions may be in person or on Zoom. If desired, longer sessions may require travel to meet onsite and at this time obtain off-site lodging, unless other arrangements are made as noted above.

Onsite Soul Stays

Group Work
Group Work are guided Soul Ways expereinces for individuals of like heart and mind. At Soul Ways a stance of “first among equals” is supported and encouraged by looking through the lenses of the literal, psychological, and archetypal realms of life. The group can provide a topic they would like to have a curriculum built around or Soul Ways can create curriculum for the group such as dream work, regenerative innerculture, counter-structure poetics, psychoeducational work on the structures of the psyche, or other relevant topics. Soul Ways group work is designed for length and time according to the needs of the client. Group work will also become a part of the online course offerings being developed at this time.
Group Investment
Sessions
As with personal work, group work takes great care. A group environment can be created that is safe and filled with respect. This type of environment supports many levels of soul work including the literal level as it appears in the group dynamic, the psychological level as it weaves new understanding with psychological patterns, and the archetypal and collective realms as they inform from the deepest dimensions of the collective psyche. Ethics are of the utmost importance in creating a safe group space for participants that allows them to be vulnerable, create a group arc of intimacy, and to facilitate new ways of understanding. Ethics also aid in creating new meaning for all involved, including the guide. Ethics and ethos permeate deeply the many layers of meaning within the world of soul. Soul Ways group work is a “first among equals” council approach that allows both fluidity and structure in the group process.
Approaching group work with a collective poetic basis of mind enhances the value of the experience and facilitates meaning-making, or soul-making, within the context of the group’s experience. This requires witnessing, interest, and collaboration. Therefore, sessions are longer by design to provide time to witness deeply, co-create together, and honor each member of the group, and the group process. Offerings include four hour half-day sessions or one, two, or three day sessions. Sessions may be in person or on Zoom. If desired, longer sessions may require travel to meet onsite, and at this time, obtain off-site lodging.
Group size will depend on the topic being explored. Smaller groups lend themselves well to soul work. For instance, the ideal size for a dream group wishing to explore dreams on a deeper level would be six people or less. Groups will be designed collaboratively according to the agreed-upon topic for the group and the requested Soul Ways curriculum.
